Ryan Peltier

Ryan Peltier is a New York based artist inspired by American and European folk art. His work is super beautiful, and you can definitely seen his folk art and David Hockney influences shining through. When I was browsing his website I thought that this piece would beautifully fit our summer camp theme this week. It's a detail shot from his piece "The Hidden Beach" depicting a quiet scene of some night time swimmers. You can view more of Ryan's work online here.
