Americana Inspiration: Aaron Blecha

This week at Ten Paces and Draw we are giving a shout out to America on the week before its 235th birthday! Bring on the hamburgers, sparklers, and apple pie! Since one of my favorite sub-sets of Americana is Tall Tales, I thought you guys should all see this fantastic graphic novel Aaron Blecha made with Stone Arch: Capstone last year, The Tall Tale of Paul Bunyan!

It was part of a series of Tall Tales they did graphic novels of, including John Henry and Pecos Bill, but I definitely think Blecha's Paul Bunyan was the pick of the litter. Who doesn't love a colossal lumberjack with a blue ox?
