The Earth Laughs In Flowers
This lovely Emerson quote was sketched up by This Paper Ship and then taken to final by Alyssa Nassner, with some lettering by Lindsay Nohl. This sets a record for the most people one one collaboration in the history of Ten Paces--4 illustrators, 1 piece. Well played, team!
Venn-Groupie-Diagram
Topher MacDonald fleshed out this venn diagram of the love triangle of marriages between Eric Clapton, George Harrison, and Pattie Boyd, sketched by Rachel Dougherty.

In a bit of a departure from the original sketch, the fine folks at This Paper Ship (Joel and Ashley Selby) created this map of cat mysteries, inspired by Meera Lee Patel's energies diagram.
This Paper Ship is an illustration, design, and photography studio in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, created by husband-and-wife team Joel and Ashley Selby. Having competed against each other to get BFAs in graphic design at Shepherd University, they eventually discovered they worked best as a team, and launched This Paper Ship in 2009 as a small Etsy shop. Their diverse work combines hand lettering, illustration, graphic design, photography, paper craft, and printmaking; their playful, colorful, and sophisticated work is influenced by Mid-Century illustration, Victorian typography and printing, Swiss design, and photography that tells a story. They maintain a strong commitment to traditional drafting and printing materials while shaping the trends of the contemporary art world. Check out their website!

DeathMap
Mika J. Nakano took the award for this week's grimmest map, and Natalie Andrewson helped her realize her vision when they came together to make this map of death. Surprisingly, it's just plain adorable!
