My Giant Pony

Mika J. Nakano created this candy-colored pony based on a sketch by Rachel Dougherty for a final that's pretty much every little girl's dream.





Mika is currently studying at Maryland Institute College of Art to receive a BFA degree in Illustration (’11) and Masters in Art Education (’12). Her dream is to teach early elementary while writing and illustrating her own children’s books.Her favorite things to draw are animals with multiple legs and sharp teeth. Especially alligators.
