Ten Paces Meet-Up

This week in addition to doing awesome musician portrait swaps some of the Ten Paces crew had the opportunity to hang out for our first ever Ten Paces Meet-up! Rachel and I took the two hour trek North to meet our buds in the Brooklyn area, we were able to glimpse views of the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge as we zoomed in on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway.




Rachel and I met up with Justin Volz and Kyle Fewell at the Lucky Dog bar off of Bedford in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and began to take bets on what time everyone would arrive (artists are notoriously late). Surprisingly it wasn't long before we were joined by more of the Ten Paces family.





There were some familiar faces (MICA represent!) and a bunch of awesome new folks - we spent the evening enjoying drinks and artist talk outside on the bar's patio. We slowly took over an entire side of the back area. As it got later everyone had arrived and the meet-up was in full swing!





We attempted to take a group shot - but above is the best picture we could get after a few tries. Eventually it got late, and we got hungry so we traveled as a group to grab some pizza.



Without a doubt the meet-up was a huge success - an amazing group of people came out, and a good time was had by all. A special thanks to the artists who made it out: Nick Iluzada, Griffin Moore, Kyle Fewell, Justin Volz, Scott Zitta, Katie Turner, Paul Windle, Michele Rosenthal, Micheal Hoeweler, Roxie Vizcarra and Rachel Dougherty. Hopefully we'll have the opportunity to hang out more - and see some new faces in the future!
